Photo Series: In Ed’s Shoes

The idea of this photo series was to visit locations where Ed Sheeran shot the videos to three of his songs from the ‘Subtract’ album. This took me to a number of points along the Norfolk/Suffolk coast – some I was familiar with, but one I was not. The locations I visited were as follows:

• The Dunes North Denes Beach neat Great Yarmouth – The location for ‘Salt Water’.
• Southwold Pier – The location for ‘Borderline’.
• Pin Mill – The location for ‘Life Goes On’.

Each location was an interesting place to visit for different reasons. It was a very windy day when I set out and the wind was blowing the grass in the dunes and the sand. It really added to the atmosphere.

Southwold Pier was quiet, so it gave me a good opportunity to take plenty of photographs that day.

Pin Mill is a very interesting place, and it is the home of many wrecked boats – often known as a boat graveyard. The Butt and Oyster Pub at Pin MIll is well worth a visit and gives a great view of the estuary there.
